The origin of the name Exloc comes from a combination of explosive and location as this is the key focus of devices that are supplied by Exloc. Therefore, the thinking behind the Rugloc brand is the same as the devices that we sell are for rugged locations.
Rugloc are focused on providing a wide range of different rugged mobile devices which help mobile workers complete their work more efficiently. We supply a range of devices designed to be used in industries such as construction, oil & gas, transport and logistics, utilities and manufacturing.

Exloc Instruments UK Ltd was established in 2012 to recreate the success in the UK that Exloc Instruments Inc. has been enjoying in North America for 20 years. Our team has many years of experience working in the process industry and in the field of hazardous area protection, especially Intrinsic safety.
Exloc is based in the North of England and serves the whole of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We are the sole UK agents for the GM International range of Intrinsically Safe Interfaces and SIL relays, The BE-X Solution range of Zone 1 Remote I/O systems. HMI-Elements range of PC Terminals, workstations and monitors & Primation for their range of ATEX ethernet solutions. We also offer the Solexy range of Zone 1 wifi access points.
Hazardous Area Mobility is a fast growing division within Exloc and we stock a wide range of Intrinsically safe Zone 1 & 2 android tablets and smartphones from I.Safe Mobile. We also stock the Zone 1 Windows 10 tablet from Aegex. We are a partner of Realwear and offer the HMT Head mounted tablets. We are also resale partners for Getac & Zebra. This is complemented by our partnership with CorDEX Instruments and their range of ATEX cameras, thermal imaging equipment and lighting. We are the master distributor and stockist for Sensear and their range of ATEX headsets. We can also offer ATEX iphone and ipad cases from Xciel inc To aid onsite inspections we have some tremendous ATEX rechargeable lighting solutions and represent EXIN Light , ATEX Industries, Kira Leuchten & Ledlenser We have developed strong business relationships on a UK and global basis with other major Ex suppliers Extronics, Beka Associates, e2S Warning Signals & LeLas For Custom Explosion proof solutions we work as the UK partner for Exepd GMBH to offer their range of Explosion proof custom solutions to the UK market
